Clever Thinking Therapy is originally established to provide mental health therapy in skilled nursing homes, memory care, assisted living and independent living facilities. Providing mental health services, therapy and medication management for all ages to residents of Utah.

 

Services can be provided via telehealth or in person at my office in North Salt Lake. Or I can go to the facility. 

 

Counseling and mental health therapy is needed more than ever . Therapy by itself or in conjunction with medication management can make for positive outcomes in the residents experience in these facilities and in life.

 

Motivational Interviewing for example, is a powerful tool invaluable to skilled nursing facilities. Having a qualified mental health provider at these facilities will enhance the residents engagement in physical therapy. Empowering people when illnesses happen is a way for them to regain a sense of autonomy. 

 

The goal is to provide individual designed plans of action to regain mental health while in a post-acute care facility, assisted living or independent living facility. Whether the resident is facing mood swings, panic attacks, social anxiety or more challenging situations. An integrative approach for mental harmony can bring regularity back to their life.
